On this eight-day expedition, you will experience the true essence of an Alaskan winter. Start your journey gazing at the night sky's Aurora Borealis from your personal igloo and racing backcountry snowmachines. Afterward, set out on a dog sled tour into the snowy Alaskan wilderness and an Arctic Circle flightseeing tour over the vast Yukon River Valley and Brooks Mountain Range. Wrap up your adventure in Girdwood, where you'll take a snowshoe tour as you learn about Native and Alaskan traditions and a snowmobile tour through the Chugach National Forest. By the end of this journey, you will discover exactly why Alaska is a truly unique place.
