On this 8-day Great Inca Trail itinerary, you’ll trek one of the most pristine – and least-traversed – sections of the Great Inca Trail, a 25,000-mile network of the world’s most spectacular pre-industrial roads. Starting at the stunning site of Huanuco Pampa, trek southward over high mountain passes and past glacial lakes, until you reach the Incan outpost at Huarautambo. Along the way, you’ll be accompanied by your expert team of local guides, porters, and llamas, shepherding you safely through one of the most invigorating trekking experiences of your life.
