After spending a night in San Francisco, you’ll drive to spellbinding Yosemite National Park – your base for the next week. Ease into mountain life with two nights in an iconic area hotel, stretching your legs on short day hikes to picturesque lakes and waterfalls. Now suitably limbered up, your guided, 4-day exploration of the legendary John Muir Trail will begin. Carrying only a daypack, and sleeping in tented comfort, you will traverse spectacular and unforgettable landscapes of towering granite spires, crystalline lakes and translucent glaciers.
