Enjoy one of the best-kept secrets of California’s High Sierra mountains on this six-day Ansel Adams Wilderness trekking expedition. “Wilderness” is a designation given to protected public lands by the U.S. Congress “recognized as an area where the earth and community of life are untrammeled by man, where man himself is a visitor who does not remain,” as specified in the Wilderness Act. During the Ansel Adams Wilderness trek, you’ll spend four days trekking 79,000 acres of spectacular wilderness speckled with granite mountains, breathtaking gorges, and outcroppings of rock. Customize your daily adventures by summitting 10,000-foot peaks and dipping in alpine lake swimming holes, and enjoy all the comforts of a pack-supported camping experience.
